The chronicle
The Riddermark fields one compact region, Edoras, built around its riders. Riddermark guards and vanguard hold the line on foot with the captains and archers of Edoras, while the cavalry charges with Rohan lances on black warhorses. Théodred and Erkenbrand lead on foot and with the bow, and a royal lord rides a white horse at the head of the cavalry.
